Dr. Sam Recinos

Dr. Sam Recinos graduated from Emory University with his Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2018, and completed an orthopedic residency in Greenville in 2019. He has since gotten certifications in dry needling and is a vestibular rehabilitation specialist, as well as an LSVT BIG certified practitioner. He has a passion for orthopedic patients, as well as outpatient neurologically-involved patients (vestibular, Parkinson’s Disease, etc.) of all ages.

Sam grew up in Silver Spring, Maryland, and his family moved to the Charleston area in the early 2000s. He graduated from Clemson University in 2015 with a degree in Biology and a minor in Psychology. Growing up, he wrestled, played soccer, and competed in numerous triathlons. These experiences resulted in a deep knowledge of returning athletes to a competitive or recreational level. Sam and his wife, Natalie, enjoy Crossfit and Olympic Lifting. When he is relaxing he enjoys watching the Pittsburgh Steelers or Clemson Tigers football teams, or spending time at home with his wife, his dog Polly, and cat Boo.
